The basics

What is a Composite Skill Lab?

A Composite Skill Lab is a single, flexible, multidisciplinary space where CBSE students in Classes VI–XII learn by doing — building models, coding devices, exploring robotics and AI, prototyping ideas, and connecting classroom theory with real-world, industry-relevant skills.

Instead of separate rooms for every vocation, CBSE's model uses one well-planned lab to expose students to multiple skills and career pathways — bridging the gap between knowing and doing.
